Processing of personal data

Why we collect personal data, and what information we collect

We collect information for these reasons:

• In order to sending you newsletters, we may use your name, email address, job title, and phone number. This processing of Personal Data is based on your consent.

• For recruiting purposes, we may collect and store your CV, application, certificates, and references. Use of this personal information is based on your consent.

To obtain information regarding your use of our website, we use cookies. Our processing of Personal Data is based on a balancing of interests, and collection and use of cookies is necessary to improve our website.

You may set your browser to tell you when you receive a cookie, and to refuse to receive it.

The cookies may store the following information:

• Requests and responses sent from and to your device

Applying for a job at EWP

If you apply for a job at EWP, we will ask you to provide us with personal data to facilitate the job application procedure; create statuses, notes and a plan related to your job application; and, if applicable, have email communications with you about your application.

Your personal data is collected based on our legitimate interest for our recruitment purposes.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Your personal data is processed exclusively for the purposes referred to above and will be shared on a need-to-know basis with:

• Any offices which is a member of our company

• A competent public authority, government, regulatory or fiscal agency where it is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation to which EWP is subject to as required by applicable local law.

• We disclose personal data to authorities to the extent we are under statutory obligation to do so. Such authorities include tax authorities, police authorities, enforcements authorities and supervisory authorities in relevant countries.

How long do we hold your personal data?

If you do not request us to stop using Personal Data, we retain Personal Data for as long as required by law. Personal Data that we have collected based on your consent is deleted if you withdraw your consent. Personal Data used to perform an agreement with you is deleted as soon as all obligations of the agreement is carried out.

We retain customer information for five years, pursuant to the storage obligation in Section 13 of the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.

We store your e-mail address and name if you sign up for our e-mail newsletter. We delete your e-mail address and name immediately if you unsubscribe.

How do we protect personal data?

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your personal data against loss, misuse alternation and/or destruction.

Access to your personal data is only granted to authorized employees who require access to the data.

Your rights in relation to your personal data

You have the right to request additional information from us about how we process your personal information. You may also request access to all the personal data we have stored about you. You may request to have personal data corrected if you locate any errors.

You may also request your personal data deleted.
